multiprocessor

Bill et al,
my pc was built with dual cpu and win2000pro installed
to handle dual_ness. but high_techie said most apps
do not utilize 2d cpu. it is my understanding that
win2000 will run multiprocessor apps as long as the
app is designed for it. eg, I have a chessbase chess
program that can use both in processing and supposedly
it increases the overall speed by 85%. compared to single
cpu. those apps measure number of calcs per second.
Since Guide (to me) seems both data and calc intensive,
it would seem to benefit as multiprocessor app,
and now you know all that I know about it :)
