Hi Mark,

I think it's a nifty image, too. In the "history" area, it might be
interesting for observers to compare Mars as we see it now (knowing
in advance that there are no canals) with Mars as Schiaparelli saw
it. Can we look at Mars and say, "Yeah, I guess I can see why
Schiaparelli thought he saw canals"? Or can you only see them
if you're already convinced they're there? Well, we'll have a good
chance to test the idea this summer.

In the "art" area, I ran Guide with Mars centered in animation mode
for quite a while with this new map... it may be a totally wrong map
compared to the "real" Mars, but it _looks_ so nice!
