saturn dimensions

Albert van Duin Jan 16, 2003

Hello Bill,

I noticed something strange when I compared the image of Saturn I made on January 5th with the vieuw in Guide8.
Either the planet disk is too big other the rings are too small. Where the disk is in front of the ring it covers the ring almost completely.
In my picture it just touches the Cassini division.
What can be the cause of this? I posted the comparison image in the photo section.

Regards,

Albert van Duin
