Hi -

I have some holiday money that's been corroding a hole in my pocket,
and since I now have a largely-free Win98 partition on my creaky
laptop, I've been on the brink of purchasing Guide 8 for a couple of
weeks.

If that seems like extreme waffling, well, I'm usually broke. Living
in the NYC area and working for a non-profit does -not- put much on
the table: I have a salt shaker but have been saving up pennies for a
pepper shaker for months now. Ha! ":p

Anyhoo, I just thought I'd ask -- and I guess this is mainly for Bill
-- is Guide 9 lurking around the corner? I don't want to get v 8 and
then have to emit the proverbial D'oh! in a few weeks ...
