Happy new year, Bill, and an other award for the year to come!

I would like to point at the display of labelling of stars.

With Guide, when you display a deep sky field, with some DSO in it,
each one is labelled with the same color as its icon. For example, if
you have chosen to display open clusters in yellow, and PN in green,
you have on your screen two labels, one in yellow, one ine green, and
there is no confusion which one concerns the cluster, and which one
the PN.

With stars, it's not the case, specially when you are intrested in
double stars, and visual observation of the deep sky (as so as you
zoom in, and there are no longer Bayer and Flamsteed stars).

With this aim, I personnally have chosen to display WDS stars, TDSC
stars, and others with precise visual magnitudes, as Brian Skiff's
ones, IMO, and others.
But all these stars are labelled with the same capital letters, the
same pure white color, and there is no sign that shows which label
refers to which star, as CCDM or LX 200 reference stars do.
More over, if you decide to download Usno magnitudes, you are in
front of a no understandable field, with a lot of same white capital
letters and numbers, even though you use magnitude and field filters.

So, my whish would be to be able to display all these star catalogs
with the same dialog box as CCDM or LX 200, in order to chose colors
of labels, four rays sign, and, why not, type and size of fonts.

Do you think, Bill, it is a dream, or not ?
