This is a sugestion for a new option in Guide (ups!). I'm in the preocess of
transform my Dobsonian to a Bartelian scope. I try Guide + Scope on a desktop
machine and works fine!. The problem arraise with the final computer. This will
be a used laptop without CDROM and without HD! (to reduce compsuption), I boot
from a disk and copy all the Bartels' software to a RAMDisk. So as I'll not have
access on-line to Guide what I want is a tool to make datasets to Scope.

I'm thinking on an option to Guide that put other button on the dialog that
appear as you right click on any object. This "Add To List" button, add the
coordinates and description of this object to an internal list list. Then in
other menu option (perhaps Extras/Write Pick List), you write the list
obselected objects to a file. Surely we need other option to reset the internal
list.

Thinking about this, once we have the list of objects, when we ask to write it
to HD, perhaps you sould ask for the format (Mel Bartels' Object List, or scrool
list, or Autostart compatible file, or planin AR, DEC and Description). Also you
can ask about the sorting: AR and DEC or Angular Separation (this last will be
very usefully to reduce sleew times).

This could be very usefuly to organize our observational sessions in advance, or
to write Guided Tours (pun intended ;-) to send to others observers.
