Re: [guide-user] A record?

Bill:
I'm sorry but cannot make dotted lines appear...
But when trying to make a distance measurement and the second 'point' happens to be located (by releasing mouse's right button) outside the sky display, then Guide acts awkwardly: the line end follows the pointer (without pressing any button) and when the right button is pressed again two things happen. First a line is drawn (as if it were the distance measurement indication )but is left there without any purpose. Second, a normal info box is opened (as it should be expected).
As you can see not very annoying, I'm just telling you this because it may help you fix the dotted line problem.

P.S.: I see you solved the problem I had with the toolbar file bitmaps (you still 'kill' the new buttons, but that's your choice, no problem...)

Have I got the unwanted record for having the longest-lasting bug that
cannot be fixed? I refer to the bug that I reported many weeks ago, in
which using the right-click mouse to measure a distance across the
screen leaves a trail of dots behind that stay until a screen refresh is
forced. If you don't get the mouse exactly right, this trail can extend
anywhere, leaving a confused display.

I have tried this on three different computers and it does the same
'trick' on each.
