I have started now to compute where the iss can be seen going across
the centre of the sun or moon's disk.

By plotting these satellite transit paths, you can find out if you
can see the iss go across the sun or moon.

I have two seperate tdf files, one for the sun and another for the
moon

So plot them in guide using the earth type map, and see if the path
passes close to you. If you find the satellite transit path is close
to you, then using the time and date info, in guide for your location
and confirm that, you are in the path. Sometimes you will be and
other times not.

The file contains the predicted path for three days, so you can know
ahead of time if you might get lucky and see the iss on the sun or
moon.

It's up to you to check if it's a daytime or night time event, and if
you can see it.

Type of events possible

A sunlight iss going acros the moon. You won't be able to see the iss
if it's lit by the sun and goes across the area of the moon lit by
the sun. It's neat to see the iss going across the earthshine lit
moon, if you get lucky, and the iss goes across where the moon, is
lit by earthshine.
