It works!
I when to
install to hard drive
And installed
Deep-Sky Objects (60 MBytes)
I had the various symbols for the deep sky objects on the screen
But without the above file I couldn't use the go to ngc object
So it works up to the point, that it crashes when I try to zoom in to the area. That's after I use the go to ngc option.

Turn it on
and exit
Then click on the go to an NGC object on the toolbar
enter both ngc 457 and just 457
get the error message
guess my computer doesn't like that part of guide, since it works for others
