I recall a song from my semi_youth, "thick as a brick" --
since it seemed to me that in win2000 the file was not
named with an extension even though the system called it
a DAT file (it ain't that smart, right? or not yet anyway),
I studied the dir more closely with my heavy duty text
editor and it thinks there is a .dat extension, so coming
at it from the opposite direction from past two days, I went
to the first line of the tdf file and told it to look for
xz80p.dat, and ignition on "automatic detection." I see
XZ stars with puffy white rings (I guess to ID them as XZ)
& catalog data too. very nice, thanks for your patience :)
I slept thru the +3.4 occ this am, but I see & time the +8.3
about 80 mins later.
I mentioned this to Oliver the other day, an XZ80Q is in
production...

You need to identify the file with its extension, i.e. - xz80.dat.
Make sure the first line of the tdf indicates "file (Drive):\dir\xz80.dat"
If the address where the file exist is wrong, it will not find it.
