Do this: Right click object #1, dismiss the info box, right click object #2,
dismiss the info box and then press Insert. You'll get accurate separation and
position angle, and offset information.

Solves your problem.

This may be faster for the user, but having both options (both the very exact,
and the more loose), is sometimes useful.
