The SIMBAD service at the Astronomical Data Center in Strasbourg
identifies 83 Peg as HD 223792 = HIP 117735. At magnitude V = 6.68,
it is slightly fainter than the nominal 6.5 limit of the Yale Bright
Star Catalogue. I don't know what their data source is.
