Setting viewing location

Hello there:
Thanks to evrybody for your advice.
Suppose all of you find Guide fascinating, I do. But I think it's a
little bit rigid, I mean highly professional You need to know very
precisely the parameters you are introducing. Guide is specially
punctilious when setting viewing location. You must know the long and
lat of the place if the city is not on the database. It is very
difficult to know when dealing with ancien history (settlers,
populations, battlefields...).
And then there is the eclipse mode where you can get the exact data
for almost every place on Earth. Taking advantage of this feature, is
there a way of going to eclipse mode without asking Guide to "find
conjuction"?, or much better, could it be possible to set the viewing
location directly from the eclipse mode?
By the way, I find really difficult to distinguish coastlines and
frontiers in eclipse mode when looking through eclipse tracks. Is it
possible to edit colors on this mode?
