[guide-user] Palomar 4
Denis Boucher Feb 6, 2000
Question:
Palomar 4 is displayed in Guide 7 but 3 degrees from its true position.
Instead of Dec +26 it is actually +29. I have corrected the globular.nam
to show the right location but what I need is to modify the data so has
to have the globular sign and data displayed on the right spot. Does
anyone know which file is used to display the Palomar clusters. I know
the folder "Clusters" is not used for that purpose but information only.
Quite a few catalog tend to have the information in that manner for Pal
4. The error was in the first catalog I believe and it continues to be
used without correction. Uranometria does show the right position, +29
degree.
I'd love to have it displayed correctly.
Denis.
