Hi Bill!

Unfortunatly I am one of those users who have, until now, not managed
to overcome the y2k bug for satellites in Guide. Transits of the ISS
would be the only thing I would realy need that function for, since
the visibility of satellites from a certain position can very easyly
be obtained from several websites, like Chris Peats "heavens above".
I once asked him about a groundtrack and he said, he is already
planning such a service. The ISS should still grow quite a bit to be
seen as a kind of sunspot, crossing the suns disk in less than 1
second. I pointed out to Chris Peat, that the pediction of Iridium
flares he is offering on his page is quite the same problem, only
with the additional complication of taking into acount the attitude
of a mirror. But I am vey sceptic, that the "show eclipse" function
of Guide can be applied to this task. However, as long as I can not
even show satellites in my Guide past the time 2000 01 01, 1200UT,
this remains a very theoretical problem for me.
