Hm-m-m-m-m-m... Well, I'm baffled too, but my current time problem seems to
have cleared up after downloading the timezone.dat file.
I had been getting a similar "wait state" problem, sometimes when clicking on
the current time button, and other times when just clicking the + button to
advance the hour by one. For me the problem was only occurring for smaller
fields of view (less than the 45 degrees that Denis mentions). It was
occurring at levels 4-6, corresponding to 20, 10, and 5 degrees FWIW. After
downloading the timezone.dat file however, it seems to have cleared up. What
can I say? Does that help Bill?
