Hello Bill,

I just downloaded the new update. Your reaction time is phantastic.
The new link system for "Quick Info" and "Find Comet" is great. You
didn't mention this in your update mail. The missing sidebar bug is
also fixed. I haven't tested much to say more.

One small glitch: With english language the version in "about guide" is
7th August 2002, but when set to german language it tells "25.3.2002",
that's rather old. I think there have to be some german texts to be
updated too :-)

Another thing happend to me a few days ago: For a special reason I
switched to the BT color system for stars and didn't think about it later.
Yesterday I had a 180 deg view and was astonished: Many bright
stars were missing. First I thought on missing Tycho stars, but they
were there (we had this thread a few months ago). Later I realized that
mostly red and orange stars were missing (and a white one: Sirius).

So I remembered the changed color system and switched back to VT
system and voila: the bright stars were back.

Now my question: do you or anybody else know why this behavior is
as it is? Are there no brightness information for some stars in the BT
system?
