Hi, Bill and the group,

A friend in Caracas tried to catch an occultation of a star by Pluto the
other day. The occultation path is predicted on
http://occult.mit.edu/research/occultations/Candidates/Predictions/P126.
html The attempt was unsuccessful.

My problem is that I was unable to locate the star that was supposed to
be occulted. I learned from a friend that it is P126A in some kind of
double star catalog, but the name of the catalog is not given. Guide
has about 5 double star catalogs starting with the letter "P" but "goto"
126, 126A, P126, or P126A in each of the double star catalogs yielded
either no results (no movement of the screen) or a jump to the wrong
part of the sky. I also learned that the star has the GSC designation
of GSC 5651:1777 in his program "The Sky" but I was unable to locate the
star by that designation, either.

Can anyone enlighten me on how to make Guide find this star?
