Yes, it'd have to be distributed on CD-ROM. But it would be a
tremendously useful dataset. <<

Perhaps you might suggest this to some of the amateurs that are
already producing high-res images of the Moon, like Antonio Cidadao,
Thierry Legault, and some of the others whose images appear in Sky & Tel,
etc.
