Hi Bob

I remember having had this problem with GUIDE 7 after playing around with
the .dat file containing the NGC data.
There is also a corresponding index file (.idx) which probably did not match
anymore to the .dat file.
The problem was solved after deleting the .idx file, because GUIDE then
built a new one.
Give it a try after making a copy of the original .idx file.
