Hi,

I'm brand new to this list (received my copy of Guide 8 on Saturday), although
I'm not entirely new to Guide (have had access to Guide 7 for some time).

While browsing the menus and in particular, checking out the "toggle user
datasets" command, I found the option of displaying the Herschel 400 catalogue.

I turned it on and went for More Info on one of its objects. I was very
positively amuzed to find reference there to my good friend Mikkel Steine's old
website for a text version of the H400. Mikkel and I have long since departed
from the Institute for Computer Science where the reference pointed to, so users
who'd want this list, should go here instead:

If you enter just the base URL (messier45.com) you will find a treasurethrove of
addional data on everything deep sky. Many of you may already have been there.
