Missing stars, was: Color problem

Bernd Brinkmann Apr 29, 2002

Hello all,

in addition to my earlier mail (see below) I can report the missing of
ALPHA UMa at all levels. The brightest nearby star is 7.2 mag
GSC 4146 354.

And all bright stars are missing from level 5 (10 deg) on to higher
levels.

I'm using the version from 04/26/2002 (EXE-File), though help says
I'm using version 03/25/2002.

Just playing with the color bands it seems that "lc"-colors gives back
bright stars to level 4 but not at level 5 and higher. With "BT"-colors
ALPHA UMa is completely missing and other bright stars from level 5
on.

Strange.
