I've just posted another update, at the usual place:

This one is not quite as major as I'd hoped (a few items are
just not ready for prime time), but does include the following:

Orbital binaries are shown at the right separation/position
angles. You can even zoom in on odd pairs such as Sirius and
Sirius B/"The Pup", or Procyon and its companion.

You can choose the photometric band in which Tycho-2, A2.0,
and GSC-2.2 stars are shown (you can't do that for GSC stars
simply because they are given in only one band), and can set the
saturation of colored stars. Also, you can set stars to be
"blurred" (essentially, antialiased... coincidentally, an idea
just proposed on this list by Tiziano Magni.)

Several "Go To" functions have been revised so that you get the
same sort of red-yellow-green hints that were added for "Go To
Comets" in the previous update.

I made some improvements to the DOS version of the software,
mostly to make sure that some things added to the Windows version
long ago would work in DOS. As you might expect, I'm not going to
stay awake nights attempting to keep DOS Guide going. However, it
often happens that once a change is made in Windows Guide, it shows
up in DOS Guide with very little extra effort, and there are a
surprising number of DOS holdouts in the world.
