Oliver.

I agree that being able to display the FOV for an eyepiece is a great help
for guests using the telescope at a star party. However with the very
large variety of eyepieces out there the list would be formidable. e.g.. A
13 mm Nagler and a 13 mm Kelner both give the same magnification but vary
tremendously in the field of view.

What I do is to measure the FOV of each eyepiece I have with my telescope
and make a mark file for each. Each file is called "eyepiece AXX" where xx
is the focal length and A is the type. Then I can locate that mark file
with the mouse and I am off and running. The circle representing that
eyepiece FOV goes wherever I point Guide.
