Eyepiece dialog for GUIDE

Hi all,
Hi Bill,
something I'm still missing since the first day I was using GUIDE is the
display of the field of view (fov) of eyepieces.
You can set fov for eyepieces via Menu "Display - Ticks, Grids, ect.-
Aperture" but typing every time the diameter for the fvo in the dark is very
uncomfortable.
So why not make a "Eyepiece dialog" similar to the "CCD dialog", which works
great at GUIDE already.
A user can pick his eyepiece from a list and can input the focal lenght of
his scope and he will have his fov at once.
A prepared list of eyepieces similar we have for the CCD's would make no
sence, because there are to many eyepieces on the market. So an option "Add
eyepiece" would be better. The user types in the necessary values of the
eyepieces he is using and can choose later the one from his own small list.
(Or the user edits the file in the GUIDE directory manually with a text
editor.)
Choosing seperate display colors for the diffrent eyepieces and display of
more than one fov at a time would be fine, but not a must.
What are other users thinking about this "Eyepiece dialog"?
Clear skies,
Oliver
