I think this would be a very unfortunate development. What we
absolutely do _not_ need is two competing forums and certainly there
can only be one "official" group.

As for my two cents: We haven't exactly exhausted all the
possibilities at Yahoo!Group (there's little in the polls, database,
bookmark, etc. sections) so I seriously doubt the viability of the
new system. But if we decide to move _as a group_, I'll be happy to
join (I read online anyway).
