I'm currently working on a Gallery system which could allow members
to upload pictures directly to the site (if I finally succeed in
making it work ;-)

For the time being, you could write your article using the Submit
News link. The WYSIWYG editor allows you to easily put a picture in
your article by clicking on a icon that will ask you its URL. That
means that if the picture you want to insert is from a NASA website,
you just have to put its URL. The same thing applies if your picture
is uploade to a FTP or a site somewhere. That method is useful
because it doesn't use diskspace on the site. If it's not on the
Internet yet, and until the Gallery actually works, you could use the
URL
http://membres.lycos.fr/projectpluto/pictures/name_of_your_pic.jpg
and then mail me the picture. I will add it to the FTP using the link
you provided. Keep in mind that the disk space allowed to the site is
50 Mo so pictures shouldn't be too heavy.
