Your suggestion of a Guide users' website seems very interesting to me.

But, if I understood you well, some features (forums, news) seems redundant
with this list [guide-user] and therefore don't make much sense to me.
I believe that a new list would make sense if it was devoted to posts in
another language than the one in use on this list, french for example. But are
there so many french-speaking Guide users ? And would Bill answer on this list
too ? Not sure.

Moreover, I don't like to be forced to register with a (nick)name and password
(and maybe also my e-mail address for forum or news list purposes). James
pointed out Yahoo's "flagrant disregard for user privacy"... I wonder what
will be with Lycos next month, next year ? Who can say ? Bill'sProject Pluto
site is accessible to everybody without password, and (imho) so should be
yours.

On the opposite, I am very much more interested in web pages with the
articles, Guide how-to, download section and web links section that you have
announced :-)
