Laurent,

I have had this problem of changing drive letters when a Zip drive is connected or
not. I solved it by re-assigning the drive letters to my drives so that the CD
drive letter preceded the Zip drive letter.
You can do this by going to Control Panel, then System, then Device Manager.
Select Disk Drives, then the Zip drive. Click Properties then Settings and change
the drive letter to one following the drive letter for the CD drive. If desired,
you can then change the letter for the CD drive to the one that was for the Zip
and the the one for the Zip to the one that was for the CD.
