Re: [guide-user] 'Stars all changed to huge blobs' error

Hi Stuart,

What you describes looks like what happens when I launch Guide and it does not
find the CD ROM, either it is not in the drive or the drive's letter has
changed because my external Iomega Zip drive is (or is not) connected.

For example, when powered on, my zip drive has letter E: and the cd-rom the
letter F:. So in startup.mar there are the following lines
18 drive f:\
63 real CD f
But when I boot the PC and the zip drive is not connected or not powered on,
the cd-rom becomes e: instead of f:. So I have to modify the lines 18 and 63
accordingly.

To avoid such problems, it is possible to copy the Guide cd-rom (or use the
install option) onto the hard disk, whose drive letter is unlikely to be
modified.

Cordialement
