Dear Bill,

I restarted using Charon with Guide8. I encountered two problems so
far. First Charon wants to have the Guide CD in the CD drive. If I
change the charon.dat file to the right directory, next time I save
the settings the CD drive letter is also changed back to the orig. CD
drive.

Next if I want to use A2 stars in Charon, he can not find the
directory of the A2, which is on my second disk and mentioned in the
Guide.dat file.

Both features worked in Guide7.

Any suggestions to a solution of both problems.
