Bill,

Make that "...show up in several colors..." and "also affects
satellites". This is just the same thing that happened some weeks
back, where some objects (eg. stars) inherited the color from some
other objects (eg. nebula isophotes). That was in 16-bit colors and
this new reincarnation of the phenomena is in 32-bit colors.

I made a small animation of the bug where I'm just hitting the + and -
keys to change the limiting magnitude and you can witness the change
in color of the PN symbol. Satellites do the sama, only that they go
solid black when there are no stars in the field.
