[guide-user] Re: satellite tracking

We all agree LX200 command set and protocol is poor and it would be wasteful
for Guide to create its own standard. Expanding upon the LX200 set is a
compromise which home grown TCSs will adapt to. Those with Meades will
simply
not have access to all expanded features. If Mel's method is more
wide-spread,
I'd happily toss my LX200 emulation and follow suite, as long as Guide does
so
to.

18.2 Hz? Is it not 18.2 milli-seconds? That is the standard DOS RTC derived
constant.

I fully expect to have to make initial corrections at the scope to take into
account mounting and orbital uncertainties. Until I try it out at the scope,
I cannot say much about the depth required for the controller. Forgive my
enthusiasm, control theory is my bread and butter whilst I perform design
and testing of flight simulator actuators and modeling.
