There is a current listing of roughly 300 Novae contained in the
Downes & Shara CV catalog. These are mixed in with about 1000 other
stars (mostly CVs). The online version is at:

Click on "ASCII report" to download the latest version. One warning
though, this version of the Catalog is really html and not ascii
text! I had to spend an hour reformating the file to get all the
columns in the correct location.

There is already a .tdf for this catalog that was written by John
Greaves I think. I didn't see a link for this on Bill's "extras"
page at:

http://www.projectpluto.com/extras.htm

I have a copy of the .tdf and the .dat file containing a recent
version of the CV Catalog (about one month old). I can e-mail this
to anyone who's interested (50 KB, zipped).
