Win3.1, LX-200, etc.

Use of Win3.1 is _almost_, but not quite, dead. (DOS use is somewhat
more common, mostly because of people using Mel Bartels' ALTAZ
telescope control system. We've talked about getting that system to
work in Windows 95, but haven't done much in that direction yet.)
I recently swapped some e-mails with a Win3.1/Guide user in Sweden,
and we figured out some problems which I have fixed (including the
install to hard drive issues and star color issues.)
I have some thoughts for getting the images to appear on Win3.1,
using a version of HDECOMP compiled to use a DOS extender
(which would also allow image display in DOS Guide.) The next
update posted on the Web site will include all this.
About the LX-200 control issues: I will contemplate tackling these
in the following update (I've made enough changes for the current
one). In the meantime, I can figure out roughly how that might
be accomplished. It shouldn't be too tough.
