The 'limiting magnitude' data should show up whenever you have
selected a topocentric viewpoint, from the Earth, and are looking at
a point above the horizon. Pierre, if that's not happening, send me
your STARTUP.MAR file, and I'll see if I can replicate the error here.

The photometry data is a bit more hidden. You have to edit GUIDE.DAT
and add the line

PHOTOMETRY=Y

to get it to appear. That made sense once upon a time, when that
data was still in an "evaluation" mode. But people are using it a bit
now, and it should probably be changed so that it appears all the time...
though probably close to the end of Quick Info.

Jan, about the high-precision mode for the LX-200: this is discussed,

Basically, when you click on "Slew Guide", Guide reads an RA/dec
from the scope. If that happens to be in the "precise" (arcsecond level)
format, Guide realizes that it can _send_ data (when you click on
"Slew Scope") in that format. Otherwise, it realizes that it's stuck
with the low-precision format.

Josch Hambsch wrote about having binned modes for the ST-10. The
next update I post will let you set any desired binning for any camera.
(Granted, the camera may not support, say, a 7x13 binned mode. But
you can set that mode in Guide and see the resulting pixel array.)

Posting of the next update has been held up because I modified Guide
so that colors can be set arbitrarily; instead of seeing that dialog box
where you can select among thirteen colors, you now get the standard
Windows one where you can choose any color. That required a fair
number of changes, and I'm still checking for places where things
broke as a result (amazingly few and easy to fix so far, considering the
amount of code I had to change.)
