I didn't code anything. It works like Bill advertised it would work. You
might delete
Guide 8.0 and do a complete reinstall. Take care to clean out the registry also
before reinstalling.
I did the initial installation upon receipt of Guide 8.0. Then I downloaded
Bill's
patch and unzipped it into the Guide 8 folder. I then did a full hard drive
install of
both CD's and tested the USNO-A2.0 CD's on a local area in Taurus. Guide 8
prompted me to insert disk #10 (which I did) and it then updated the screen
with
the A2.0 data in a couple of seconds. Zooming in the faintest stars took me
down
to around 19.1 magnitude. The same occurred when accessing the A2.0 data from
the internet except the magnitudes are displayed with that data. Could be a bug
with the SA1.0 disks?
