So far, so good for me. I copied both disks to my larger hard drive,
and modified line 18 with the concatenation of their locations. This
works great, and the double-click is no longer necessary with your
new fix.
You probably already knew, .mar files are special cases if you have
Microsoft Approach installed, they are assumed to be shortcuts to MA
reports. I just changed my registry (don't try this at home, folks!)
to undefined and now I can edit them with NotePad or other typical
edit applications. Now, if you DO use REAL .mar files, you do NOT
want to do this, just select Notepad or WordPad from accessories and
then open the Guide .mar file. I think that Startup is the only one
anyone would want to mess with, and the less done with that the
better...
