Ooops! Had such things sometimes with ´Guide 6 and 5, but never with Guide 7

Don`t have a specific suggestion
Before reinstalling, I would try to run chkdsk/f

To prevent such things I always backup the running old version before
updating Guide.
Its also wise to often backup startup.mar. If you have an old copy, give it
a try.
