Hi,

Anyone out there using WinXP and Guide?? I have just built a new
machine with Win XP Pro -I have it loaded alright but cannot seem to
control my LX200 using the RS232 connection. I have verified the
correct comm port on the serial connection and can even move the
scope via the scope pad however when I attempt to "slew guide" it
hangs.

If i plug my other machine in (win 98) things run as before- great.

I can't access any of the port settings with XP however I did check
that the baud rate on comm1 was set to 9600


Any ideas?
