Hello Bill and Guide-users everywhere,

I've downloaded and installed the last several updates, and I'm
really enjoying the slick one-click download and display of GSC 2.2
and USNO A2.0 data! However, the DSS from internet function doesn't
seem to work for me anymore since adding these updates.

When I issue the DSS from Internet command, either by clicking on the
toolbar button, or from the DSS/RealSky dialog box Get_DSS.exe seems
to run and then hangs. Apparently it downloads gzipped files (named
0011.gz for example)but is stalled when it needs to "ungzip" them? I
say this because I can manually unzip these files and then display
the fits images using the Add DSS images command from the DSS/RealSky
dialog. I can live with this, but it's not the one-click
satisfaction that I've grown accustomed to! :-)

Has anyone encountered similar problems? Could there be a simple
solution, other than a fresh installation of Guide 7? (Which, as a
previous post has mentioned, is not all that time-consuming or
difficult!)
