See the Guide help file, help|glossary|refraction. Guide does take in into
account.

Also, I have seen a rule-of-thumb that the "average" refraction is
approximately 1/2 degree. i.e., if you saw a star on a theoretically flat
horizon, it would actually be about 1/2 degree below the horizon.
