Update posted w/bug fixes, earthshine

Bill J. Gray Sep 2, 2001

Hi folks,

I've just posted an update, consisting primarily of bug fixes
for things such as the double "sun" line in Quick Info, the
confused-looking output from the satellite pass function, the
crashes in "more info" for high-numbered asteroids, and a few
others. Not much in the way of new features here.

About the only significant one shows up when you right-click on
the moon and select "Display... Options". A line shows up labelled
"Earthshine", with a default value of 30%. Set this to an extreme of
zero, and the dark side of the moon is _truly_ dark. Set it to an
extreme of 100%, and the moon seems to be always full (an astronomer's
worst nightmare, I suppose). The features on the dark side are now
shown and labelled, with the intensity varying according to the
"earthshine" value.

One remaining problem is the Jupiter bitmap, which really ought to
be replaced anyway; it's from Voyager data, and people sometimes comment
that it doesn't resemble the actual current appearance all that well. If
anyone has a cylindrically-projected image of Jupiter, one that covers
all 360 degrees of longitude, please let me know.
