Not only would this be nice but outright useful. Streaching it a bit
further, I'd like to be able to click on a trail and get all ephemeris
data for that point of the trail. Trails should also be named after
the parent object and the time inteval and this should be shown in more
info of trails in stead of "Planet trails from animation" (and in the
label of the trail, too).

BTW, deleting _all_ trails is akwardly hidden in "Animation/Add a
trail" which even can't be accessed if not first right clicking on a
moving object. Also, hitting <enter> in "Add a trail" doesn't add a
trail but forces an exit from the dialog.

Has anybody else had problems with "Go to" (in the menu or short cuts)
not hitting the target? I had this problem sporadically a couple of
months ago with moving and non-moving objects. I told Bill about it.
Then for a long time I didn't notice any problems until yesterday it
hit again - now it affects Messier, NGC/IC and sometimes planets'
moons. The moons behaviour is really bizzarre as initially it's dead
on target, but after a second or so shifts by up to several tens of
seconds of arc. This is very annoying for me as I have _no_ idea as to
what causes it or why it suddenly vanishes.
