If you give me the choice, I defenitively opt for a non standard Window behavior and keep that "Guide" behavior to click on a red-highlighted piece of
text and go to that object and/or date.  I use this option very frequently and I will deceive to lost it in Guide 8.

 

What is for other Guide users ?

I hope that it will help Bill to make a decision.....
