[guide-user] Little remark + adding a webcam

Philippe Mollet Jul 3, 2001

Hi Bill and the others,

some remarks considering the display of a CCD-camera-frame/field of view

1) I wanted to know what part of the moon would have been captured with my
scope and webcam, but it seems that Guide draws the CCD-frame first, and
then puts the Moon on top of it (so the frame becomes invisible). Is there
a way to change this order?

2) Here are the specs for the Philips Vesta-webcam, which is rather popular
among astronomers over here for lunar/planetar/solar imaging:
Philips Vesta Webcam VESTA 5.6 5.6 659 494 5
Just add this line in the file Ccds.nam, and don't forget to change (= add
one figure) the first number of that file (the total number of camera's in
that file)

Philippe,
