I was relieved to read that others are having problems blinking images in
Charon. Although the very first 'blink' worked, since then - crash!

I have made sequences of images that can be displayed correctly in Charon.
These can be added for blinking. Only the first one remains blinkable. All of
the others are inverted and bleached out. The GSC and identified stars remain
indicated (ie., crosses) but the actual images are turned upside down. This
happens every time. Individual images can be 'resurrected' by continually
changing brightness/contrast, but the end results are still not blinkable,
having been inverted.

The other problem involves getting USNO onto the hard drive. I have copied
Guide onto the hard drive and it works very well (small change to startup.mar).
Charon will not work in this mode though - it insists on having the CD-ROM
present - even after changing the 'real' parameter in line 63.

Help anyone?
