Last night (June 1st) I succeeded in observing Asteroid 1999 KW4 with the
help of Guide7. Clouds had prevented me from seeing it when it was really
close. Last night it was at magnitude 13.5, and fairly close to the moon;
out of reach visually for my 130mm refractor. But with the help of an ST-7
camera I captured 11 images, exposures from 30 seconds to 3 minutes. The
image trailed a bit on the 3-minute exposure, but that helped me to be
absolutely sure I had the right object. Also, the longer exposure brought
out PGC 50976, which was very close to the asteroid.

I am sure I never could have found the asteroid without the help of Guide.
