Mars diameter, undo etc

James Ellis May 30, 2001

hey all

Just planning some Mars observing for the next month and I came across the
Horizons body information which states that the maximum angular diameter of
Mars is 17.9". It's disk size is currently running at 19" (correct)???
misprint or does it mean something else?
Anyway I'd be interested to see any CCD images of Mars of this opposition
from other Guidees. Hopefully by 2003 I'll be able to put together some
sort of imaging thing myself.
I'm doing some purely visual observation. Which is easy cos Mars is
overhead and it's cold and clear outside... Sorry NH's-I had to mention that :>

Another thing I was thinking of was some sort of undo function... for
instance if I hit an incorrect button or enter the incorrect date I could
then hit 'undo' and I would go back to my previous position, time, location
etc?

Cheers
