MPCORB troubles
Bill J. Gray May 27, 2001
Hi folks,
The recovery of (719) Albert did cause a whole slew of "off-by-one"
problems that could crop up with either the built-in data, MPCORB,
or both. To get around them, you need a current MPCORB (which will
contain (719) Albert) _and_ you need the current software from the
Web site.
In addition, there is currently a problem with doing all this when
you're running on a hard-drive installed version of Guide. (All manner
of odd things happen, including asteroids giving magnitudes much brighter
than reality and some asteroid-related functions failing.) I'll be
posting an update shortly that is essentially nothing but bug fixes.
